Nautilus Architects is an award-winning boutique architecture firm known for our commitment to excellence in custom home design, sustainability, and elegant detail. With over 25 years of experience designing luxury residences throughout Connecticut and the Northeast, we are seeking to expand our team with fresh talent eager to contribute to real-world projects.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a recent or upcoming college graduate with strong AutoCAD skills to assist on a variety of custom residential projects. This is a hands-on, in-person role working directly under the guidance of our principal architect, a Yale-trained designer known for innovation in both contemporary and traditional architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and modifying architectural drawings using AutoCAD

• Supporting schematic design and design development

• Assisting in project documentation and coordination

• Learning directly through active participation in client and design meetings

Ideal Candidate:

• Proficient in AutoCAD

• Self-motivated, punctual, and mature

• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through

• Able to work in-person at our Old Lyme, CT studio

• Eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a collaborative team environment

Preferred (but not required):

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or SketchUp

• Prior internship or coursework in architecture or design

• Interest in high-end residential design, sustainability, or construction
